Who can
apply for the Scholarship loan?
Applications are invited from students of all communities for grant
of Loan Scholarships for Scientific, Technical, Medical and other
Professional courses in India and Overseas.
Do I require a Guarantor
for the Loan?
At the time of submitting the applications the candidate has to
ensure that a male guarantor from Mumbai has to stand guarantee
for the repayment of the loan amount granted. We also require 2
recommenders from Mumbai known to the applicant.
Do I need to provide any
documents after the loan is sanctioned?
When the loan is sanctioned and before the amount is disbursed the
applicant has to provide an insurance policy as collateral guarantee
which should be assigned to the Trust for the amount of the loan
scholarship granted.
Where can I get the Application Forms from?
Application Forms may be obtained from the Trust office at: Esplanade
House, 29, Hazarimal Somani Marg, Fort, Mumbai-400 001. Tel: 22077044
on payment of Rs.50/- either in cash or by Postal Order. Candidates
requesting for Forms by post must send a self-addressed Rs.10/-
stamped envelope of size: 23 cm x 10 cm.
What are the dates for Loan
Application?
The Forms will be issued from 1st April to 15th May each year.
Completed Application Forms should reach the Trust
Office not later than
31st May for studies overseas and by 31st August for studies in
India.
